I want to inform you of a very special event, one that is dear to my heart, the 2nd Annual Howard Nathan 3 on 3 Rockstar Basketball Tournament! Here are the details:
This tournament is a Central Illinois event for players of a variety of age and skill levels. Howard Nathan's event involves dozens of temporary courts set up at the George Washington Carver Community Center basketball courts. The event is held every summer during the last weekend of August. Anyone can play, male or female, ages 7 - adult. This is a fundraiser so please participate. Registration fee is $100.00 per team and the deadline to register is August 15th, 2009. The event is being held August 29th and 30th, beginning at 8:00 am.
This is a family event which will include food, drinks, snacks, t-shirts, hats, dunk tanks and music along with the basketball competition.
